Regular physical activity is good for the body and mind. There are many ways to increase your physical activity! Whether you are looking for local trails, kids activities or a rigorous work-out routine, our tools and resources will help you find what you need.

Lighten Up Lancaster is making it easier to be more active by promoting walkability and bikeability throughout the county. If you are interested in helping to make these changes, please contact us! LULC, in partnership with , has created a wonderful guide for community members to use as a resource for walking, hiking, fishing, and riding trails. Research shows that the key to losing weight and keeping it off is to simply keep track of the foods you eat and the exercise you complete. MyFitnessPal is a free website and smart phone application that makes tracking calories easy and fun! Also available free of charge, diet plans and food trackers from SparkPeople, can be a great way to jumpstart your healthier lifestyle.
