Lighten Up Lancaster County Coalition is a group of concerned individuals, organizations, and employers from all walks of life: stay-at-home parents, students, schools, healthcare entities, local government officials, food-service employees, recreation/fitness contacts, and private businesses. Our single mission is to increase the number of adults and children in Lancaster County who are at a healthy weight.

We invite you to become a member of the Coalition. You decide how much time you can commit. No matter how much, every step in line with our mission helps to continue our efforts, now and in the future.

When you join, you'll get the chance to meet others, like you, who share a common vision for improving the health of Lancaster County residents. You'll also receive a monthly e-newsletter filled with the latest information about our events and programs. Click here to be added to our mailing list.

Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work? Join one or more of our Action Teams. Depending on your interests, you can help to build the foundation for a healthier future by developing, promoting, and implementing policies and programs that make being healthy easier. Coalition Action Teams include: Education and School, Community and Policy, and Workplace. To learn more about what we do, click on a link to your left to see past committee meeting minutes.
