Apple Award Entry Form for Spring 2013

Lighten Up Lancaster County would like to recognize successful wellness initiatives implemented by individuals, groups, schools and districts targeting school-aged children ranging from pre-school to high school seniors. The award is intended to honor the leadership and dedication of those who have taken action during the current school year to promote healthy eating and/or physical activities, increase the awareness of healthy lifestyle choices, implement wellness policies and/or improve the health and well being of students in their community. The award is open to any individual, group, school, district in Lancaster County.

The 2013 Apple Award Application is available for submissions! Guidelines have been created to provide interested parties with structure and guidance for the application. Lighten Up Lancaster County Coalition is a group of concerned individuals, organizations and employers, in partnership with Lancaster General Health, who want to increase the number of children and adults in Lancaster County who are at a healthy weight.
